I would be highly surprised if a lot more D leaners would voter for her for that. I assume very few voters in NV care about Israel. And if they do, they are likely highly politically engaged and made their decisions already. Maybe she said so simply because donors want it, but I am not sure how much more money she made and how much marginal effect.

No effect. Biden seems to be the only political figure in the country, at every level, who is getting s*** (from all sides) about the Gaza issue.

This will make a few dozen leftist Twitter bots mad enough to not vote for her, and might swing a few moderates on the fence towards her. No net impact imo, or a very slight positive one.

If this were somewhere like Michigan or Virginia, it'd be negative. For Nevada, unlikely to make a difference.

No impact unless the war drastically changes and picks up a lot more salience with the public. I'd wager that Nevada voters are less interested in foreign policy than the average state, and this war in particular doesn't seem like something that Nevada demographics would have much investment in. I also don't think there's any reason why a lower profile candidate like Rosen would really differentiate herself from Biden in voters' minds on this issue.

Maybe the fact that she is defying Biden on a major issue helps her.

Thinking about it, it's interesting that there have been no attempt by the radicals to disrupt economic activities in Las Vegas. Maybe a combo of no-nonsense security, powerful unions that will have little tolerance for it, and a Republican governor.

Why would be give unconditional support to any foreign country? The fact that that isn’t a politically toxic statement is horrible.

I agree. Republicans are almost all like that with Israel, and so are democrats with Ukraine.

It helps because she’s distancing herself from a deeply unpopular President.
