Before I get started about the CFR you should know which of the 2008 candidates, and potential candidates, are current members of this organization. You will notice that they are from both the Democrat Party and the Republican Party, men and women.

Ron Paul is one of the few candidates who are not members of the CFR.
The Council on Foreign Relations, or CFR, was founded in 1921 and has long been thought of as some mysterious organization whose positions and agendas are shrouded in secrecy. Their official policy states:
“…the Council on Foreign Relations is an independent, national membership organization and a nonpartisan center for scholars dedicated to producing and disseminating ideas so that individual and corporate members, as well as policymakers, journalists, students, and interested citizens in the United States and other countries, can better understand the world and the foreign policy choices facing the United States and other governments….”
But the truth of the matter is very much deeper then this. The CFR has openly disclosed what their true agenda actually is. Even though they have openly exposed their agenda to the public, most people still do not want to debate what this organization is up to. Perhaps it’s because people don’t want to know the true nature of the CFR or they don’t want to believe that their favorite politician is part of such an organization. Some even deny that the CFR is anything but benevolent, once they discover their favorite candidate is a member.
The best way to expose the agenda of the CFR is by quoting what former, and current, members have publicly said or written. You can go to their web site and see what they say their purpose is but their true agenda can only be found through the members themselves.
After reading the quotes below you will see that the CFR is not working to strengthen the U.S., they are not working to better the average American’s economic well-being, they are not working to ensure our Nation is safe from foreign invaders and they are not working to preserve the Constitutional protections we all should enjoy. Rather, the real purpose of the CFR is to weaken, and ultimately destroy the Country. They are working to take our Country into what Bush Sr. has declared to be the “New World Order”, where the U.S. is under the control and power of the U.N. Where the borders, and the very sovereignty of the U.S. is obliterated. Where the rule of law, Constitutional law, is replaced with the rule of fiat by supreme rulers from foreign lands, that make law based on the direction of the wind and the pleasures of the elite.
The Council On Foreign Relations is working for the absolute destruction of everything that made America the greatest Country in the history of mankind. For any Presidential candidate to be a member of this organization is an affront to the senses and some would say a treasonous act. If these candidates were members of some white supremist group, or the Communist Party or any other openly disgusting organization they would be derided, ridiculed and run from office. But through the secrecy of the CFR they seem to be getting away with supporting the very destruction of the American Republic.
