Who would you have voted for in the 2000 GOP primary?

For me, I'd easily vote McCain, who represented the kind of Republican Party I would've liked to see lead us into the new millennia. After him, I'd be interested in Steve Forbes and Lamar Alexander.

I was for Alan Keyes back in 2000 but tactically voted for Bush II to stop McCain.  I really regretted that vote after the 2003 Iraq War.

Why are you more supportive of the Russian invasion of Ukraine than the American invasion of Iraq?

Bush easily. Awful choices all around though.

I am sort of neutral on the Russia invasion of Ukraine.  I can see arguments for and against.  The difference is that Ukraine is a core issue for Russia whereas Iraq is not a core issue for USA.  I would have a different view if there was talk of Canada or Mexico joining a military alliance hostile to USA.

If he would have stayed in the race at least a month longer,  I would have voted for Orrin Hatch.
