For those unaware, apparently Jesus Christ’s Chinese brother Hong Xiuquan established a Christian theocracy in China for over a decade in the 1850s. Thoughts on this glorious empire?

Certainly brought about a great deal of destruction, which is probably why the peasant "Heavenly Army" was so well-received by Mao and company. That said, it was only the result of English intrusions into Chinese affairs that the rebellion even broke out in the first place.
