You know what's pretty incredible? Even his father thought that he was a bit unhinged and over the top, and actually had him imprisoned for a period, and also once ordered a garage full of Uday's luxury car collection completely destroyed as a sort of punishment to him. He also basically moved his successor to be Qusay instead.

This is a guy who was so much of a deranged sociopathic monster that he gave even Saddam Hussein pause.
