ANP is a national conservative and anti-communist party composed of former Salazar supporters.
PS is social democratic and strongly committed to liberal democracy.
PCP is Marxist-Leninist and pro-Soviet.
PDC, founded by the former fascist militant Rolão Preto, believes in Christian democracy, personalism and Catholic social teaching.
