Highly unlikely. There would probably be some small-scale protests and maybe a localized riot or two, but nothing as drastic as 1/6. While Trump was well respected among his followers at the time, he did not have as strong as a hold which meant that any voter fraud allegations wouldn't have held as much weight.

No, I don't think so. I think he needed the power of the incumbency to push the election fraud lies.  He had a bully pulpit + allies in high places in 2020, which he wouldn't have had on 01/06/2017
