I'm really hoping he'll take the same stand as Schumer here.  Seems like a good way to triangulate between the moderate and leftist wings of the party, since it seems like both pro-Palestinian progressives and most Jewist Democrats hate Netanyahu:

There should be a snap election, obviously, but I'm uncertain whether it would be wise for Biden to demand/call for such. It's still a domestic issue of Israel and not up to an American official to decide. Imho it's more a matter of principle, not about Netanyahu.

Morally, yes. Politically, no. It would only strengthen Netanyahu since the Israeli electorate resents being told what to do.

He should stay the course in these.
The antizionists single issue voters won't vote for him no matter what he does unless they become scared about Trump.
He has already alineated some zionists, and those will end up voting Trump...

The left doesn't get this, it will just make Bibi and center-right Israelis dig in and the end result will be more of the same.

I’d would think a new election throwing out Netanyahu would speed up the end of the war in Gaza, and I imagine many “single issue” antizionists will remain single issue voters long after the war is over.

Israel needs a new election, however Biden has to work with Netanyahu to get any sort of agreement to an end to the conflict, so it might not be in his best interest to openly call for one.

Biden can’t work with Netanyahu because Netanyahu doesn’t seem to want to end the conflict at all.  And if Israel got a new election, Biden likely wouldn’t have to work with Netanyahu.

The Israeli right is very powerful. There’s no guarantee that Bennett or even Gantz would be any more peace-minded. Their politics is locked into confrontation now.

It's looking like Netanyahu could win again now. So it would be pointless provocation.

Pretty much all polls show his coalition losing badly.
