It seems very understated how polling is showing one thing, yet all of the empirical evidence that we have for the Republicans this election (broke state parties, Trump's RNC takeover, killing helpful initiatives, etc.) does not point to a winning formula

There's potential for the RNC to collapse before election day. I don't think we're appreciating how bizarre it is for a major political party to restructure itself a few months from voting beginning. The down ballot impact of this could be great.

This could really kill them in PA; PA Dems have objectively been able to get a really great VBM program going, and it really helped last year. Just laying over and giving up on VBM seems like an awful costly move, but not surprising given Trumps lies.

agreed and get them the trifecta in Pennsylvania. An outright majority in the Senate is going to be hard but if they tie it Davis will cast the tie breaking vote.
