I've said before I've wanted a liberal version of the DUP. This is what ChatGPT came up with asking to merge them with the Green Party of the Netherlands (because the Dutch Greens were founded by a strong faction of liberal Protestants):

Quote
Name: Green Unionist Alliance (GUA)

Symbol: A stylized combination of a green leaf and a union jack.

Platform:

Environmental Conservatism: Drawing from the Green Party's focus on environmental sustainability, the GUA would advocate for strong policies to address climate change, promote renewable energy, and emphasize conservation efforts. This stance aligns with the Green Party's commitment to ecological responsibility.

Economic Policies: The party would likely support a mix of market-oriented economic policies with an emphasis on sustainable development. Balancing economic growth and environmental responsibility would be a key objective, incorporating the Green Party's economic perspective with a Unionist approach to local industries in Northern Ireland.

Unionism and National Identity: Embracing the DUP's commitment to the preservation of the Union, the GUA would actively work to maintain Northern Ireland's place within the United Kingdom. This party would likely advocate for policies that strengthen the economic and political ties between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK, while maintaining a distinct and vibrant cultural identity.

Social Issues: The GUA may find common ground on certain social issues, such as a cautious approach to social liberalization. While the Green Party often supports progressive social policies, the GUA might take a more moderate stance, reflecting the DUP's traditionally conservative values.

Cross-Border Cooperation: Striving for cooperation and diplomacy, the GUA would likely emphasize the importance of positive relationships with neighboring countries, including the Republic of Ireland. This approach could lead to efforts to find common ground on cross-border issues and collaborative solutions to shared challenges.

Education and Innovation: Incorporating the Green Party's focus on education and innovation, the GUA would likely advocate for policies that invest in sustainable technologies, green jobs, and a well-educated workforce.

This theoretical Green Unionist Alliance would be a unique fusion, combining environmental consciousness with a commitment to the preservation of Northern Ireland's Union with the UK. The party would strive to bridge the gap between seemingly disparate political ideologies, offering a fresh and innovative perspective on the challenges facing both the environment and the region's political landscape.

Surely you can come up with this stuff yourself eh?

In any case, not so viable in the Northern Ireland political context where ideological preferences are polarized on cultural/religious lines. BRTD I assume you would be a guaranteed SF voter.

It seems fine but given Alliance is at least not Republican, this party feels kind of unnecessary.
