Distill the parties down to their current most basic beliefs: it's good faith vs. bad faith. I'll let you figure out which is which.

This has been the M.O. of the Republican party for the better part of the last 20 years: "prove" that the government doesn't work by refusing to run it while you're in power. Pure bad faith
