Question: What will happen
#1
Yes, they will be a major disruptive force a la Bernie 2016

#2
Yes, but only a minor force (a few chants during speeches that get drowned out)

#3
No, because the war will be over by then so they will have nothing to disrupt about

#4
No, because they will chicken out and not do anything

#5
No, because the DNC will prevent them from attending somehow

#6
No, because there won't be enough of them to actually do anything

There are about 4,000 delegates at the Democratic National Convention and so far "Uncommitted" has secured 20.  I'd wager they'll end up with 50-100 for about 2% of the vote.

I wonder what will become of these people?  Will there be "Uncommitted" delegates at the convention?  If so, how are the delegates decided, since there's no campaign to select and submit delegates?  Will they be normal people, or just the biggest leftist assholes imaginable?  Will they try to disrupt the convention, and if so, will they be successful?

It's interesting to speculate on.

My assumption is that each state party will just appoint loyalists to be the Uncommitted delegates.

Yeah I should probably have clarified that when I say "the DNC will prevent them from attending" I just mean that the current rules will be used to ensure that normal people are appointed to those slots rather than raging assholes, not that the assholes will show up at the gate and be barred from entering.

I don't think its going to be a big risk. Maybe a few "genocide Joe" chants but these people are not smart enough to keep their powder dry. I expect most of them to be kicked out by the 2nd night.

Sort of a mix of #4 and #6.

I'm pretty sure most of those "uncommitted" delegates will actually be loyalists as noted.
