Didn't pay much attention to the SOTU ... but if you're going through the effort of having a button at the SOTU with the murdered person's name on it, then you can at least spend 5 seconds to learn how to pronounce the name

Donald Trump:

1. Autographed a photo of Laken Riley.

2. Spelled her name wrong on it ("Lakan").

3. Did a smiling thumbs up photo opp with it that any normal person would say is completely inappropriate for a deceased person, certainly one who was murdered.

None of the people mad about this will care about that because it was never about Laken Riley to begin with.

This is exactly why I believe Biden will win. If this nitpicking is all people could find wrong with his speech then his opposition is pretty doomed in making a legitimate case against him.
I agree in principle, but there was a lot more of cringe moments than just his predictable indifference to Laken Reilly's murder. This isn't nitpicking. Nitpicking was when Republicans attacked Obama for the tanned suit. This is is much, much, much more of a real issue that everyday Americans are talking about.

Most everyday Americans are probably not talking about this outside of Georgia and partisan conservatives.
Do you know any apolitical everyday people? Apparently not. Because this is a huge controversy right now.

I know tons, and none are discussing this. It’s a huge controversy for certain conservatives.

Well, uh, your own party is running scared for some reason:

37 Democrats voting for the Laken Riley Bill: https://clerk.house.gov/Votes/202466
14 Democrats voting for a Resolution that directly attacks Biden and his policies: https://clerk.house.gov/Votes/202485

A whopping 37/14 out of just over 200. Some of them are in vulnerable seats or running for higher office in a swing state, others, I don't know.
