Would you agree that the 2024 election is essentially a redo of the 2020 one without COVID? This could explain why Trump is doing well this time around.

No, Biden was beating Trump in the polls by high-single digits pre-Covid.  Covid didn’t really hurt Trump at all in the end.

Result-wise, I think it could be. With more third party support though.

Warfare plays a much bigger role this time around, also abortion.

We didn't have Jan 6th or Project 2025 either in 2020.

Covid19 hurt Donald Trump and the Democratic party.

It helped Joe Biden and Republicans.

Donald Trump's brand as president was hurt by his perceived mismanagement.

Democrats were hurt because all of their proposed ways to manage Covid19 were deeply unpopular with swing constituencies(parents, working class whites/latinos).

No - as stated, Biden was beating Trump in the polls  outside the MOE even pre-COVID. Biden had net positive favorables back then: people thought he would be a third Obama term. That’s not the case at all anymore, and it’s the reason the race is so different now compared to then

It's still COVID it's no lockdown, but there can definitely be some split voting as Brown, Tester and Stein are overperforming, Biden in OH, MT and NC

COVID, AIDS AND HERPES ARE VIRUSES THAT CANT BE CURED, but AIDS attacks your immune system the others don't AIDS is TERMINAL
