He doesn’t want to believe Biden is behind. It’s simple human nature and the idea that Biden is actually behind makes him uncomfortable.

This independent of polling though. A reputable newspaper is publishing stories without adequately checking it's sources. It's not that person in question said they are an independent, it's that they are representing themselves as Biden voter when they are not.

A few liked tweets does not mean they supported Trump back then. It’s also possible the riots and COVID switched his mind. He wasn’t really active between May and the election.

Speculation is not fact. The facts on the record suggest that he is a Trump supporter and evidence is what matters. Do you know this man personally? I'm assuming you do sense you are stating that he changed his mind. Or you're just lying about knowing him.

It’s better than assuming he is lying just because you want to discredit a poll so it makes you feel better. He did not really support Trump the few months before the election.

The polling is not the point, it's the article and being aggressive doesn't change the point. Newspapers not checking their sources is journalistic malpractice. And you didn't even look at the screenshots.

A lot of the state level polling was very poor in 2022, the national numbers were fine but pretty much by accident. The way the GOP won the House by 5 seats was completely different than anyone would have expected.
