There's going to be a democratic House*, which is going to saddle him with impeachment nonsense from day one. There won't be tax cuts or permanent solutions on immigration, unfortunately.

There might be some much needed changes to regulatory bodies, temporary solutions on the border, and improvements on foreign policy, but that's it.

Hope he wins, but no reason to vote for him.

*That said, if the "Trump is improving disproportionately in safe states" thesis holds, he might be able to carry some vulnerable Congressmen across the finish line in NY and CA. But I'm not holding my breath.

Doesn’t seem likely that Dems will overtake the house majority in an ekection that Trump wins.

If Trump wins Rs will probably hold the House. Downballot Republicans have ran ahead of Trump in both 2016 and 2020.

Yup, I think the House will go as the presidency goes.

Agreed, though there's still a (slightly) higher chance for Biden/Republican House than Trump/Democratic House in my view.

Even if Democrats take the House while Trump wins (which in my view is an underrated possibility), Trump can still do a lot of damage on his own.

He definitely can, but there’s a lot of stuff that will bee off the table without a trifecta, like federal abortion bans or passing legislations to rig elections nationwide,

I don't think people vote Trump to pass legislation, but to block Congress from passing legislation.

They don't need Trump for that as long as Republicans control one chamber of congress. This one and basically all of 2011-2021 were extremely unproductive and make the 80th (1947-49), which Truman once mocked as "do nothing congress", look like a hyperproductive one.
