I hope she does an appearance with Biden and endorses him soon, and makes the argument for her supporters to get on board. I know, I know, she barely has any supporters, but we need absolutely every vote we can get, because the margins in November could be razor-thin.

There should probably be a corresponding opinion of the dropouts thread, for this.

She gave it her all, which is something Biden isn’t doing by any measure

The actual results from the voting booths suggest otherwise.

Pretty embarrassing for her than that the best she can amount is low single digits against an old man who's barely trying

Suddenly I feel better now for forgetting about the deadline for this state's primaries.

Still more dignity through it all than anyone else against Biden, except maybe Trump.

It says a lot about her campaign that she got obliterated by the man who won the Great Corn Pop Battle.

Well, she ran a good campaign.

The 3% she received in SC and NV were one percent more than I expected ... lol.

For real this time?

Well, she fairly consistently got Purple heart% and exceeded Dean Phillips in South Carolina. That's something she could feel proud about, I guess, and she certainly isn't pissing as many people off as Phillips has.

Perhaps not incredibly surprising, but considering my wife bought one of her books back during her 2020 campaign and a couple of the daughters have since then, that her Presidential run will both help her book sales to cover the campaign bills from this last go around and she will continue to have a voice about her opinions on a wide array of topics to a larger audience.

It sounds like something she’d tout to her true believers.

Awkward typo on my part.

I meant < 3%. How many students' math homework has that happened to?

If she had somehow made it to the Indiana Democratic primary, I'd have voted for her. Now that she's out, I can focus entirely on whatever third party/independent I'll be supporting.

Is anyone surprised by this news?

There are now only 26 days until Super Tuesday.
Biden and Trump are at over 70% in the polls.
It is not hard to predict who the nominees will be.

There are three main questions before the General Election.

Will the efforts to keep Trump off the ballot fail?
Who will be the GOP VP candidate?
and last but not least:
Will Trump be convicted before November?
(if yes Biden wins, if no, well who knows?)

Look at what she said

"in the final analysis we could not compete with million dollar SUPER PAC-funded TV and internet ad campaigns."

"I have no doubt that had I been able to reach enough Americans, would have been able to create a coalition of conscience powerful enough to override the layers of economic, criminal, racial and environmental injustice"

The absolute GALL of her to still insist she would have won the nomination if the "primary wasn't rigged".

The primary isn't rigged. No one liked you Marianne

That and the other competitor is a guy no one outside of the district he represents in Congress had heard of until about six months ago.

You realize this only makes losing by 90 points more embarrassing right? (And also communicates that Biden does not have to try to win big)

In fairness, she somehow came across more polished this time despite also sounding more like a deranged lefty.
