If Biden wins in 2024, he is doomed to more divided government, with the Senate likely swinging Republican. I think everyone in this country will know that he won because his opponent was toxic or convicted. Republicans will say they would have won if it was Haley and they are right. 2026 is guaranteed a six year itch, so little room for gain for Biden.

I think with these factors, everyone will start looking into 2028 the moment Biden wins the election with his successor having a thousand targets on her back by ambitious Dems. Same with the GOP.

Isn't every president seen as a lame duck in term two? (I mean, other than losers like Donald Trump who get fired by the American people.)
