Since 2008, any state changes have all been in same direction:

2008: 9 Democrat gains

2012: 2 GOP gains

2016: 6 GOP gains

2020: 5 Democrat gains

Last time you had states go in opposite direction was 2004 in which you had one Democrat pick up (New Hampshire) and two GOP pick ups (Iowa and New Mexico) so how likely do you think it is we have what happened in 2004 where both Biden and Trump gain at least one state they didn't win in 2020?

North Carolina is the one possible sticking point for Trump. I could see him flipping other states and losing NC. Idk about Biden; I can’t immediately think of states that would flip to Trump while Biden flipped another state.

I could obviously see Biden losing states while still winning the election, but that’s not the question asked of course.

Yes. Trump will gain at least a state or 2. I have him at worst winning NV, GA and Biden holding the others.
