I was thinking that, but reason choose West Virginia is Liz Cheney is anti-Trump and while doubt swings many votes, her opposition to Trump probably enough to allow West Virginia to leapfrog over it.  Still Trump wins Wyoming by a landslide.  At least 2/3, quite possibly over 70%.

Wyoming, and I think Trump will carry it by over 70% this time. It is a perfect fit for the modern Republican party and the last gubernatorial election there was the mother of all blowouts. Plus Biden was polling there at 13% last I recall.

WV. I think Trump could crack 70% there.

I’m guessing West Virginia, but it could certainly be Wyoming for the third time. It won’t be Utah.

Cheney has been dead meat to the Republican establishment for roughly three years at this stage; Harriet Hageman easily defeated her in the WY-AtL-R-2024 primary. I can't imagine her mobilising Democrats to a sufficient extent, even at this stage.

Pretty obviously Wyoming, which has been the most Republican state by margin of victory in three out of the last four elections (and was the most Republican state other than Utah in 2012 which is self explanatory)

Don't get me wrong, Cheney won't have a huge influence but just a slight marginal could be enough to ensure GOP gets 1-2% less in Wyoming than West Virginia although still wins it in a landslide.

The only people influenced by Cheney were already people who voted for Biden and will do so again.
