If Biden was any weaker on Israel, he would be attacked relentlessly by the right in the same way they are attacking him for being weak on other foreign policy / border issues. He would lose far more people than just super online leftists who have their heads too far up their own a$$es to understand the gravity of a second Trump term.

But seriously, I'd like to give a sincere middle finger to Bernie, who continues to do more damage to our country than anyone other than Trump himself. Bernie needs to retire and be shunned from politics forever. He is absolutely one of the worst politicians in American history and words cannot describe just how much I loathe him.
Thinking that rightly pointing out that Biden is in the hole approval rating-wise in general and with young people in particular is anywhere near on par on Trump's covid policies, his SCOTUS appointees, his collusion with Russia etc. is pretty silly.

Leftists are the ones who are equivocating Biden with Trump and refusing to vote because they think it won't make a difference, but go on

Another user said it best:

"They should just stop complaining about Biden being complicit in a genocide and think about how much damage Trump will do to democracy" is maybe not the best attitude to win these people back. Just my two cents.

No seriously, young voters were perfectly fine with Hillary until Berrie came in like a wrecking ball. Without him, none of this would be a problem at all.

What do you mean? Bernie didn't need to come in against her, after all, she defeated McCain in 2008 and had a great re-election in 2012 after all.

...oh, wait.

Biden’s Levant policy isn’t endearing him to young voters, but he wasn’t a hero for us before that anyways. Housing, employment, and the general personal economic freeze we’re in has much more to do with it.

The are good indicators in the economy, but spending thousands of dollars a month to live within an hour of a barely livable salary isn’t the American dream.

Biden has no direct control over those other issues, but Biden has direct control over US policy toward Israel.

Remember, Biden is bypassing Congress to send weapons to Israel and continues to defend Israel's behavior.

The fact that Biden has a direct hand in it is why it's so problematic.

You’re not wrong, but the issue still stands. Voters don’t always care what you can do but rather what they want you to do. Young voters were soured by the absolutely dreadful economic prospects we face. The Israel-Palestine war was just another thing that pushed young voters farther from Biden, but we/they weren’t close to begin with.

No doubt that there are other issues, but with those other issues, young voters see Biden as only partially to blame (with Congress and the courts sharing the blame).

On the other hand, young voters see Biden as the enabler of Israel's conduct with Biden bending over backward and going around Congress to aid Israel

He also said days before the 2016 election that it wasn't racist to vote for Trump which was a signal for his supporters to get revenge over the primary. He is bitter over the primaries and loves to make these veiled shots toward Democrats.

I don't know why anyone thinks that the alternative to Biden would be any better on Gaza. Trump and Bibi are close and Bibi clearly would prefer Trump as President because he would have a free hand to do whatever he wanted.

I know a lot of Rs think that Biden is Hillary and he will be soundly def in Nov, he isn't, it was the polls that overestimate Biden and then they underestimated him and now the polls are back to normal.

Really, Trump up by 9 in a Rassy poll, Biden has been at 45% since last 22 and we won 5 specials in PA and won WI, contradicted by a Leger -4 which is the right one because Biden won by 5 in 20 and it was a 303.

Trump by 9% is just as ridiculous in Summer polls with Monmouth had Biden +7

Redban calls Biden a shill he doesn't understand tax cuts for the rich isn't that popular compared to 2016

As I said it's a 303 map DS don't need the S except GA maybe the lone lone to vote D due to ATL. NC is gone Robinson is ahead by 4 and ALLRED is done he will lose by 9.

But, polls always do this every Eday cycle but we don't need a landslide to get a Filibuster proof Trifecta Brown, Tester, and Gallego and Osbourne winning will get us to 51/49

I was never going to vote for Biden anyway, and his recent actions have cemented that.

What I'm really hoping is that these young voters who are turned off by Biden (which I 100% understand) look at third party alternatives as opposed to sitting out of the election entirely.

I admit, as someone who voted third party in both 2016 and 2020, I'm biased toward seeing a higher third party turnout, but I also think it's far better to show one's displeasure by voting third party/independent as opposed to not voting at all, which can't really be measured.

I don't know why pollsters or Politicians worry about Eday it's a 303 map, and we only need 51/49, S and 218 in the H

There are enough Ds in blue states to galvanize behind Biden and win Eday

Yeah the dude was so bitter over the primaries he actively campaigned for the party's eventual nominee and spent most of the campaign season trying to get his reluctant base to support them. You can make some pretty valid criticisms of Sanders but he had always played ball with the Democrats, even as much as his inner circle and base seethe over it. Get real.

You can criticize a system of oppression (the STATE of Israel) without being prejudiced towards those that benefit from it (Israelis, not Jews). People would (and should) have a problem with any country doing what Israel currently is, regardless of which state it is or who it's citizens are. The number of people who see videos of Palestinians dying in horrific ways and think "the solution to this is more death+also anti semitism" is tiny.

The central point you've got here is correct but I'd say that Israel doesn't just not benefit the global Jewish community but passively harms it.

I meant that you shouldn't be prejudiced towards Israelis on the basis of their religion. You are right though, Israel proclaiming itself a "Jewish state" and then murdering thousands for the whole world to see is very bad PR for Jewish people worldwide. Israel doesn't represent Jews, it represents Israelis.

I would go a step further. I think there are factions in Israel who want life to get so bad for "diaspora" Jews that they end up making aliyah.

How on earth has this become a rehashing of 2016 ?

Ugh.

This is what Blue MAGA does. All of this is an 8-year-long hissy fit because Bernie dared to stand up and challenge the notion that Hillary was entitled to the nomination.

Which is a shame, because she's massively overhated. If she were Hillary Rodham, she'd be viewed more like Obama/Biden. She's clearly not like her husband, and while she's effectively been the establishment for 20 years, she's a fine option and was much better-suited than Obama, who became Mitch's bitch. She's just a bad campaigner who (ironically, like Bernie) is much too loyal to "her people".

I always get dragged through the mud as a Hillary hater by these people but I'm really not.

"Most important election of our life time" part 328764287435. Things get worse regardless of who wins. The only reason to vote Democratic is to stop Republicans, but Democrats (on here especially) are so condescending when people talk about their frustrations with Biden/Dems, it's hard to give a crap anymore. Gaza is basically flattened as is. Your boy sent emergency military aid so they can continue bombing/killing. But Bernie's the bad guy for calling it out? Gimme a break. Biden should be condemned for giving a blank check to an apartheid state.

The West Bank would be wiped out under Trump, not to mention an invasion of Mexico and who knows where else. It is not condescending to highlight what the alternative is. There is a very fine line to walk between criticism and encouraging people not to vote.

If Trump is reelected progressives will then criticize Democrats for not being able to impeach him out of office.
