Nikki Haley has not seriously attacked Trump to the point where that bridge would be burnt. Haley would also balance the ticket near perfectly with Trump (being a charismatic younger woman seen as more establishment/moderate & stable) and would help him in suburban areas. And since she isn't too hated among MAGA Republicans, Trump would be able to sell his core supporters on her. She seems like a pretty ideal running mate for Trump in my opinion. Do you guys think a Trump/Haley ticket will happen?

Trump won’t pick her. He wants a female who always respects and never offends him.

He wants a vice-president he is 100% confident will help him destroy our Republic. No matter how much she abases herself, she will have too much connection to the pre-Trump party,  and has failed to obediently grovel too many times, for him to trust her loyalty to Trump.

Haley will not be his VP.

No. It’s likely going to be either Noem or Stefanik. Maybe Blackburn or Huckabee Sanders.

After her mild criticism of him-it's very unlikely.

Mild? It was harsh. Well, harsher than Harris's criticism of Biden in 2019

Possibly because you know, he might be convicted and have to drop out to avoid Prison time? Ya'll want Trump to be the nominee so bad it's hilarious!

After Haley's insane comments against internet anonymity that rightfully pissed Republicans off, I don't know if I stand by this statement anymore lol

It sounds like the logical choice, right? He probably picks someone like JD Vance or Hawley. Someone who would be preaching to the choir. You have someone who will never be reasonable enough or likable enough to become present on their own, but might be able to pull off a1988.

At this point, I'd say my prediction is that Trump picks Elise Stefiank as VP

Trump tonight (i.e. rally in NH where Tim Scott endorsed him):

Quote
“She is not presidential timber ... Now when I say that, that probably means that she’s not going to be chosen as the vice president.”

And probably more than just the ring.

She hasn't gone after him, but he started calling her "Birdbrain." There was an incident where his campaign's people left a birdcage right by her hotel room (or something like that). And would she accept? If she doesn't get the nomination this time, she probably has aspirations to try again in 2028. Does she want to be known as Trump's former running-mate next time?

But overall, she would be a fine, inoffensive choice for his VP

She won't be Trump Veep

I think Haley is currently undervalued as a potential Trump VP pick, although still quite an underdog vs the field (I'd assign her odds of being picked as maybe 12:1)

In 2016 Trump needed support of the evangelicals who were suspicious of him. That's why he picked Pence and that was a masterful pick.

In 2024 Trump has a problem with the moderates and the suburbs. He will probably pick someone who will bring the suburbs home. Nikki is a potential pick. So is Youngkin.
