I've seen several episodes from babysitting, it's pretty good and funny.

I just remembered this article by a parent compaining about how the parents in the show were "too good" and that made them feel inadequete. It contains this quote:

Quote
When my husband and I are stuck at home on a rainy day with our kids, we usually spend it huddled in the corner of our bedroom with our phones, blocking out the screaming fights erupting over plastic toys in the other room. When Bandit and Chilli are in the same position, they throw themselves into a rousing game of taxi driver.

As someone who's parents did not give me anywhere near enough love, attention, emotional support, etcI remember them joining in on a joke by another parent about how they only buy things like game consoles to shut us up rather than actually loving us. It was mostly a joke, but thinking of that kind of joke is funny and lighthearted really isn't good, I am not exactly sympathetic to a parent who hides from their children in the bedroom and ignores screaming fights between their kids, or at the very least doesn't understand that joking about it while complaining that the dog parents in a tv show play with their kids looks really bad.

Amazing show. I mean, there’s a ton of fellow Gen Z-era watching it despite being in their late teens early 20s with no kids, because it is actually well written and has good moral stories, doesn’t shy away from rough topics, and has good role models.

It's awesome. Pretty much every parent has the same story as we do, of getting caught by our kid watching Bluey without them.

I love how Bandit's job is digging up bones (archaeologist) and Chili's job is looking for drugs at the airport. Lots of little gags like that for the parents.

I've never heard of it berfore, but the excellent CBC radio program 'Day 6' did a segment about it yesterday.

Bluey is a beloved animated kids show about a family of four dogs and their daily lives. The show is celebrated by parents and it has spawned multiple Facebook groups dedicated to Bluey memes. But recently, the biggest of those groups has been consumed by the culture wars and sparked a bitter fight that seems very much at odds with the spirit of the show. Katie Notopoulos, a correspondent at Business Insider who writes about technology and internet culture, explains how it happened.

I saw a guy wearing this shirt at Furnace Fest.

I asked for a pic because I know my friend posts about it all the time because her daughters are obsessed with the show. (Her husband even got a tattoo of Bluey and her sister captioned with their daughters' names below.)

The absolute best show. The kids could walk out of the room and I would probably keep watching it its written so well for parents.
