Explain his victory in a sentence (ideally ten words long) or less.

Also, does this bode well or poorly for his chances at re-election in 2024?

Because the majority of the population can't stand Trump.

The short version: Because people were tired of Trump's clownshow and his utter incompetence, and Biden in many ways was the exact opposite (experienced, rational, not bombastic). Democrats nominated him because he seemed the safest bet to beat Trump.

Tax cuts are unpopular in a Pandemic just like Bush W tax cuts were unpopular in 2008, that's why the polls are wrong again Pred a Trump slide, they were wrong in 22

Trump decided to run like Hillary for some reason, which just gave him the problems he was originally able to get out of.

"Biden won because he improved on Hillary's numbers"

8 words lol

Hillary came really close to winning in 2016. She need a swing of 1%. Biden improved with young people, third party voters and white males to get that small swing. And make up for the loss with POC.
