Burgum is gonna be the Kasich of 2020, the one who will end up doing better than Ron DeSanctimonious

Vivek is running for Trump's VP so he doesn't count unless Trump dies

Even if Trump died today, he'd still be the nominee.

And he'd probably be even elected president because dead corpses tend to do well.

The Trump legacy lives on and people would vote for Trump because of the Trump legacy.

Besides we all know that there would be theories spreading on the internet and social media that Trump really isn't dead, something like what happened to McAfee

Trump lost.

Can’t even show up to a debate because he’s cowering in his basement (or worried about being arrested, who knows).

DeSantis lost, because it's clear that Vivek will hold onto 2nd place and grow his lead over the others.

I want to say Ramaswamy because there was next to no substance to anything he said, just a bunch of generic GOP slogans and talking points strung together, and because Christie and Haley both landed solid attacks on him. Since he did get a lot of attention focused on him, though, I guess I can't say he was the clear loser.

So I'm going for Burgum and Hutchinson given they didn't really stand out much tonight.
Burgum stood out in opposing a national abortion ban.
This is true.
I think the "small town", anti-federal government message he used could work well, if it gets the airtime it needs.

State's rights.

Two losers I think.

1.For Hutchinson and Burgum their primary goal had to be simply to get into the next debate (like the T.V show Survivor) and I don't think Hutchinson did anything to make the next debate.

2.Tim Scott. Incredibly low energy. I know even among Evangelicals who aren't supporting Trump that Pence isn't popular, but I'd still be surprised if Scott doesn't lose a good deal of his Evangelical support in Iowa (where's he's been polling relatively well) to Pence.

Interesting thing about Borgum and Hutchinson is that their presidential campaigns would work out badly someway or another if they were in opposite states.

RDS because he needed a turnaround the most. It wasn't an epic loss for him here, though he didn't get the punches he was in need of.

Tim Scott needs about a third of a dose of whatever Vivek is on. Scott seemed like wallpaper.

According to anecdotes posted by people in this forums watching their circles discuss this debate, DeSantis was a total nonfactor.

This is even worse than having negative coverage on you.

RON DESANTIS because he was a non factor the whole debate. How do you come in with so much and come out with so little?

DeSantis didn't turn it around, so I'd say him by default.

He is beyond uncharismatic and already doomed his general election candidacy by taking one of the more hardcore stances on national abortion bans. He is merely this cycle's black Republican friend.
