Christie calling Vivek a "Chat GPT candidate" was an incredible burn.

There really weren't too many. What comes to mind for me was Christie calling teacher's unions the biggest threat to the country. Somehow that Christie comment made me the most furious. He is actually proud of his notoriously poorly received governorship!? I welcome him to come back to Jersey and remind our state's voters.

I didn't watch, what are the Rs doing in Congress they already blocked Affirmative Action and Student loan forgiveness and Crts have already blocked their silly work requirements on SSDI under 62 and they are threatening to shutdown the Govt why watch their debate so that Trump can feel superior but they always work things out when Biden starts negotiating

You think we forgot about Dobbs, student loans forgiveness and affirmative action no we didn't

You can't debate with these Conserv they say if Rs cave to Ds demands on spending McCarthy is gonna lose his Speakership and Crts already rules you can't force Work requirements on people under 62 for food stamps

It's in CA if you are on GR and you are waiting on SSDI you don't have to work for food stamps

Vivek's various edgelord takes. From denying global warming and promising to hand Ukranie over to Russia while deploying cluster bombs on America's southern border*, to rattling of a long list of government agencies he'd cut. He came across as far less serious (and far more dangerous) than I'd previously thought.

*I know he didn't quite literally say this, but he explicitly said "We should use those same military resources to prevent the invasion across our own southern border" and we are in the middle of shipping Ukraine a great many cluster munitions. If anyone would prefer to claim that Viviek is an idiot who doesn't have a clue WTF he's talking about, I would also accept that interpretation.

Chris Christie talking about the war crimes that Putins forces are committing against unarmed Ukrainian civilians INCLUDING MURDERING MEN AND RAPING THEIR WIVES AND DAUGHTERS AFTERWARDS, getting booed for it, and the crowd applauding the man who wants to give those regions to Putin as part of a "deal".

Wow, Democrats are right.  Republican voters really do have no morality.

Let's not forget the moderators admonishing the audience for booing too much at Christie. Sums up the whole GOP, really.

Though I will say that the crowd overall wasn't quite as obnoxious as that disastrous CNN Trump town hall from back in May.

Ramaswamy's closing statement where he said that the "common set of ideals that set this nation into motion in 1776", and "won us the American Revolution" included theism, genderism, support for fossil fuels, border restrictions, parental rights, the nuclear family, and opposition to affirmative action. Rather than liberty, democracy, equality, or freedom of religion.

Quote
I was born in 1985. And I grew up into a generation where we were taught to celebrate our diversity and our differences so much that we forgot all of the ways we are really just the same as Americans, bound by a common set of ideals that set this nation into motion in 1776. And this is our moment to revive those common ideals.

God is real. There are two genders. Fossil fuels are a requirement for human prosperity. Reverse-racism is racism. An open border is not a border. Parents determine the education of their children. The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to man. Capitalism lifts us up from poverty. There are three branches of government not four. And the US Constitution, it is the strongest guarantor of freedom in human history. That is what won us the American Revolution. That is what will win us the revolution of 2024.

He could have just listed his views, but instead he shoehorned them into a statement about the revolution, despite the fact that they played no part in the real revolution, and in some cases contravene the actual constitution.

The Constitution won us the American Revolution?  I think he needs to check some dates.
