The REAL conspiracy theory? The conspiracy theories were ALWAYS a way to divide and confuse the population, and were NEVER either harmless jokes or some kind of noble anti-establishment cause. Conspiracy theories can, almost uniformly, be traced back to Russia and other hostile actors attempting to create excessive mistrust in our government and cause chaos in our society. So the ultimate irony is there indeed IS a conspiracy... to plant conspiracy theories. And that one true conspiracy theory is also the one conspiracy the so-called "conspiracy theorists" willl never touch.

Because there is a segment of the GOP that will just believe any conspiracy theory they hear.
