Endorsing the egotistical pharmaceutical executive doesn't seem like a bad career move for a guy with a business administration degree from a small Lutheran college in Nebraska.

It's also a way of side-stepping a more serious endorsement that would come across as a direct statement about Trump's fitness for office.
