Yep Christie messed up DeSantis OSR and 2016 and I know Redban doesn't realize that but it's true because as soon as Christie got in and he reminds Ds and Indies of Corrupted politics be ause of Guiliani and three are Italian

That's what really HAPPENED , Redban got so mad at me when I pointed out DeSantis, Christie, Mario Cuomo and Guiliani aren't Prez for a reason because they are Italian that's what they are

John Kerry and JFK  were discriminate against they were Irish Catholic, the Pope John Paul said Kerry shouldnt be Prez and a lot of people left Catholic Church after John Paul Died

Cuomo didn't run in 1992 because he had Mob ties if he ran Rs wouldn't have been 12 yrs in majority no Lewinsky no RH majority that's why they are doing lousy now R because it was Lewinsky that helped Rs

The reason why DeSantis won FL there are rich Italians in FL and Brooklyn NY, Tony Danza

PR stunt; will be quickly trashed by the courts

Lawsuits like this, not those categorically designed to protect injured individuals, consumers, and workers rights as believed by republicans, but genuine BS lawsuits filed by right wing ideologues for political posturing, our exhibit a as to why rule 11 sanctions need to be more liberally enforced.

It’s cause the people who are advising him are telling him this type of stuff will improve his chances of winning the primary.

So it's impossible that DeSantis just has bad judgement and skewed priorities? It's all because of his advisors?

He can't fail, he can only be failed. Tongue Bargain bin Trump

Even ignoring this obvious point, if true even for sake of argument it clearly demonstrates that if he can't ignore crappy advice from his own advisors, then he obviously doesn't belong within a country mile of the white house.

Surely you two would agree with this, osr, right?

Florida pension funds hold stock in Anheuser-Busch, so the state is harmed if the Board of Directors doesn't fulfill its fiduciary responsibilities.  The company has a legal duty not to allow outside interests or personal beliefs to interfere with its responsibility to shareholders.

It's actually not an incoherent argument, although it will most likely not make it very far in court.

"Well ackshully, Let Me Explain how crapping on lgbtq people - other than me of course - is a totally rational and not at all horrific viewpoint!"

He went full culture war loon which is funny because early in his governorship he demonstrated the ability of knowing when to turn it on and off.

It’s cause the people who are advising him are telling him this type of stuff will improve his chances of winning the primary. It really shows how out of touch the GOP still is with their own voters and a huge part of it is the issues the base cares about and it’s sadly a reason why Trump is still dominating and why Vivek is somehow polling in the top 3.

DeSantis wouldn’t be doing this just like how Romney wouldn’t be pandering as much as he did in 11-12 if we had a UK style nominating system .
Even if that's the case, it still speaks to his inclinations and lack of principles that he would go along with advice this stupid and insane (suing a company over a deal with an influencer) though.

Someone actually committed to the free market and free speech, like he claims to be, would never consider this.

Rubio a year ago basically did propose a bill a year ago that would give shareholders the ability to sue companies over stuff like this by claiming it violates their fiduciary responsibility. The reason for this is less about wokeness but more cause they want to bring corporate culture back to the Friedman definition where the only think corporations are worried about is pleasing their shareholders.

Yes, surely shareholders oppose expanding sales to underserved markets. Milton Friedman would be rolling in his grave. Roll Eyes

I don’t think DeSantis will be as good as Reagan or HW any more but he will be better than Trump and Biden and that’s enough

If we're blaming all of this on advisors then why is DeSantis still taking their advice now that all of his advantages and momentum have been squandered?
