Also, ftr, my high school US History teacher does the same exercise in her classes and encourages alumni to still participate, so I have a pretty wide sample size. Pre-Trump, the winner was nearly always FDR, except in 2012 where Lincoln won due to the movie, but since 2016 or so it has been MLK. It's very unlikely that the winner will be anyone other than those three men imo.

Yeah I think it's the former -- a side effect of young people becoming more socially conscious which was in good part driven by Trump's election.

so everyone has a third and fourth available nomination, when we get to 64. Nominations will be closed and who-ever is nominated after that is too late.
