If so, how did daily life change for you? Do you regret it or very happy with it?

For me for example, I have lost a lot of weight and I have noticed my cardio improve by a lot and I am far more mobile with more stamina. I also don’t have to stress out as much for shopping as I used to if the clothes were too small.

Yes, I used to be like just a few kilograms but now I'm 75 kg. Very concerning

Lost weight, I was like 176 at the height of my depression when I was drinking a lot.

That was about a year ago and since I've started feeling better I've lost about 30 pounds and am around 150 which I feel is decent for my height and body build.

I might try and tone things up eventually, for myself more than anything.

I recently weighed myself and was 2-3 kg more than usual, it was the biggest blow to my self-worth ever.

Amateurs.

I’ve gained and lost weight like an accordion! 1/3rd of my body weight in a year back in high school (40 pounds) Gained the majority back. Gained 8 in one month and then lost it in the next.
I’ve also artificially made myself “heavier” on a scale by nearly 15 pounds within a single day with a lot of tricks if that counts but it’s not real.

Anyways my life is the same other than when I was at my lowest. I’ve been healthier though ever since I was at my highest (middle school) and now don’t suffer high cholesterol/blood pressure.

was around 125 pounds sometime in 2013 or 2014. It fell to 75 or so over the course of just a month. Then I learned I had juvenile diabetes.

I shot up several pounds during the first two years after high school. I was extremely depressed and anxious, and my comfort food became salty rice with butter and spicy oil.

In 2021, I lost a quite a bit of weight in a short amount of time after my mom had a stroke resulting in considerable memory loss. I was stressed and my appetite was low.

I’m currently at a fairly healthy weight for my height.

Only the Freshmen 15 in college and 10 now.

Between those I've been stuck at the same weight, and only just recently added 10 to get to a healthy, less anorexic-looking place.

My weight has gone up and down several times during my life; I've been slender and extremely athletic at times, heavy and sedentary at others.  I've settled in the middle (a little overweight but active), which I think is a good place for my age, and I'm happy with it.

I gained quite a bit of weight during college and then more during the pandemic, made worse by the fact that these happened back-to-back (I graduated in 2020).

I gained about 50lbs in the first year I started to work out; mix of muscle and some fat which I cut back. It was absolutely worth it  and I've stayed pretty active since.

Does the 20 or so lbs I lost between the winters of my 8th and 9th grade school years count? I realized I got too skinny, and am now up about 25 lbs from that low around Christmas 2021. (think 116 lbs -> 97 lbs -> 121 lbs as of today). I was kind of chunky around 8th grade because I was like 4'10 back then and never worked out. I'm like 5'4 rn, so I'm still thin despite being heavier now.

Either the OP is 5' tall, anorexic, or just trolling. Personally, I'd say the third is true.

I've got to be at least 300 pounds by now.  I just ate a munchkin and yes I hate it, but I can't help myself.  When I have stress and anxiety, I eat.  And eat.  And eat.

Depending on how much is "a lot," yes, almost perfectly a function of how much time I'm spending living with family (gaining weight) or on my own (losing weight). I gained close to 20 lbs being back at home summer of 2020, having nothing to do outside of the house, and then lost 16 of those pounds by the time I came home for Christmas after living in my dorm at grad school for three months. It's it healthy? Definitely not, but it's also personally kind of encouraging to know that it's something I have some level of control over.

I lost about 60 pounds between March 2022 and March 2023. From a high of 250 down to 190.

Assuming this is "a lot" I went from like 200-210 to 180 over the course of my first semester of college due to the combo of eating less and actually exercising because my hometown gave me no reasons to go outside lol

It has fluctuated a lot since childhood. I will say that, in my experience, calorie intake is the key to weight loss/gain. Exercise plays very little role.

ive lost 45lbs in the last year though (without vomiting every day too) so basically just hoping i can keep it up

18 (2012): 112 lbs
19 (2013): 125 lbs
23 (2017): 135 lbs
24 (2018): 142 lbs
25.5 (2020): 160 lbs
26.5 (2021): 167 lbs

27.5 (December 2021): 174 lbs
28 (June 2022): 161 lbs

Unidentified virus took 8 pounds of the "COVID-15" right off and apathy towards eating since then must have done the rest.

29 (June 2023): 151 lbs
a few months off work and not sitting around at a desk all day brought me down from 163.

I wouldn't call these huge gains or losses but extremely rapid and unintended changes based almost entirely on active or passive lifestyle. If only I could devote 12+ hours a day to being outdoors for the rest of my life!

Went from 268 to 157 about 38 years ago (when I was 20).  Much easier to lose weight back then!

But even tougher to keep it off.  I'm about 170 today.

That weight loss was a huge impact on my life and my career.
