He'd have taken the blame for everything that went wrong and he'd have been creamed.


Jackson would have been blamed for the economic downturn and California, which was not as Left as it is now, would have rejected Jackson for the defense industry cuts that kept the Democratic vote down there.

I wonder who Jackson's VP would be? Probably Bill Bradley or Dick Gephardt....Bradley most likely...But Jackson's supporters would blame racism, etc. The country may not have recovered from the Jackson loss.
