Like they made it popular again and that f[inks]ing sucks.

At least us Millennials eventually shunned it and relegated it to trash heap of music history like disco or hair metal...but then Gen Z revived it. But why? Of all genres to make a comeback in popularity that's near the bottom of one's I'd expect. Imagine telling someone in 2007 nu-metal would ever be popular again.

I don't follow any current nu-metal bands, but Deftones and Maximum the Hormone are great.

Because there have been barely any good rock acts in the past 10 years. You gotta look to the past to inspire the future.

As the self proclaimed "National Representative for Gen Z affairs", I'll gladly explain why.

Because it's good. Or at least it's a lot better than that speed-metal garbage that sounds like it was recorded in the boiler room of hell
