It’s not an either/or thing. The right to practice no religion is part of freedom of religion.

I think the Constitution mandates freedom of but I would prefer freedom from, at least anything that is not fleeting in nature.

Women who seek an abortion need freedom from religion, from the people who fanatically practice it, who try to declare their type of beliefs and practices the law of the land. People can practice their religions as long as they don't try to dictate that others do so as well.

The freedom to practice religion doesn’t give you the ability to force me or anyone else to abide by your religion. You can oppress yourself, you can’t oppress us.

It’s untenable though.

As America becomes more and more secular, something has to give, and we go the French Route.

I should have the freedom to not have to live my life by any one religion, and everyone should have that right. I should be allowed to practice any or no religion, and everyone else should also have that right. They're one in the same.
