Not saying it’s likely, just wondering how you would explain this one.

Manchin ended up being a good vp choice for Trump.

Still surprised he took the job or that Trump offered it to him.

So apparently Mooney ran a third party campaign after losing the primary to Justice, and Blankenship also ran?

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

So I guess elections are rigged after all.

Serious though ‘your reaction to’ threads in general are some of the worst things on Atlas. It’s 100% thinking up a hypothetical scenario that proves you right so other posters have to say you’re right.

I guess Manchin really did switch parties.

Don’t think this is as insanely unlikely as it seems at a glance because really all it takes is one bizarre race.

Imagine if Justice gets Roy Moore’d a week before the election. Suddenly this wouldn’t seem that unlikely. That’s basically ‘all’ it would take.

So ya obviously very unlikely, but not as whacko as it might appear.

He spoke at the RNC endorsing Trump and Trump decided to endorse him in return. That’s the only way I can imagine this.

Petition for a reaction to ‘reaction threads’ megathread.

Mixed.  I certainly want the whole of Wokeness to be rolled back.  All of it.  So I want a GOP Senate.  I do think that Brown and Tester are two of the Democrats most attuned to ordinary working people.  If the Republicans regained the Presidency I'd be OK with this.

Manchin switched parties and paid Trump millions of dollars for an endorsement.

Doesn't seem that unbelievable to me.  Manchin has the strongest crossover appeal of the 3 (he's actually won in an R+42 state before!)
