A BILL.

— To prevent incidents like the Jack Maroon case;

— To optimize OPSEC;

— To improve the interaction of Lincolnian troops;

— To improve coordination with the federal Atlasian Army;

— To satisfy the acute personnel and technical hunger of the Lincoln National Guard

Emergency Replenishment of the National Guard Act

1. All personnel within the Lincoln Territorial Defense Force shall be integrated into the Lincoln National Guard.
a. For the purposes of this bill the Lincoln Territorial Defense Force shall be defined as a military association organized by Executive Order #03 of Governor Oleg.
b. Local and state law enforcement, paramedics, and divisions of civil emergency services shall be exempt from compulsory service in the Lincoln National Guard.

2. Officers of the Lincoln Territorial Defense Force retain their ranks in the service of the Lincoln National Guard.

3. All property, equipment, documents and personnel of the Lincoln Territorial Defense Force are assigned to the Lincoln National Guard.

4. This act shall go into effect immediately.

So this just restructures and restores ranks in the Guard following the debacle where we abolished and then reestablished it.

Object. I understand the urgency with these decisions, but we need to allow for an adequate debate period to discuss this (as well as any other items on the floor) before rushing into a vote. Could we add a concrete definition of what constitutes state defense forces? This should exclude local and state police, etc.

a. For the purposes of this bill the Lincoln Territorial Defense Force shall be defined as a military association organized by Executive Order #03 of Governor Oleg.
b. Local and state law enforcement, paramedics, and divisions of civil emergency services shall be exempt from compulsory service in the Lincoln National Guard.

2. Officers of the Lincoln Territorial Defense Force state defense forces retain their ranks in the service of the Lincoln National Guard.

This is not at all what I planned. 1.b is very useful for what I planned.

Alright, I agree with this amendment, because in this form this act adds legitimacy and guarantees emergency directives 11 and 12. In this way, we will not be able to restore the personnel, equipment and vehicles that, after the disbandment of the National Guard, went to the state defense forces and the federal army. But on the other hand, it will keep me from conflict with local state governors and add weight to the decision to reorganize the Lincoln Territorial Defense.
