The Southern State Department will oversee domestic and foreign concerns under the command of General Deadprez and General Sunrise. General Deadprez will primarily control domestic affairs and General Sunrise will control foreign policy.

Response to recent actions by Atlasia
The foreign nation of Atlasia is aggressively violating the sovereignty of The South by deploying the Fremont National Guard and unfairly creating new defense forces in Lincoln. Atlasia has done everything humanly possible to ensure a war will begin. This is not a threat of a civil war. This is direct action against another nation. The South will do everything to ensure the safety and security of our civilization. General Deadprez has authorized all troops on the border to be on high alert for an invasion by foreign nationals. Any step towards our soil will be met with swift responses. General Deadprez has respected the liberty of Southern militia groups to take up arms to defend cities and rural lands. The State Department will supply Southern Nationals with weapons and aid. Emergency shelters will be provided extra support. Each district will have troops stationed to respond swiftly to any aggression by the Atlasian military.  Barricades will be built around each district and city.

In order to defend The South, the State Department is ordering all Southern Nationals to remain in the South, stay at home, and be on high alert for an invasion by authoritarian globalists. The State Department has deployed economic sanctions on Atlasia, effective immediately, to prevent Atlasian aggression.

Until the foreign invader, Atlasia, stands down, the debated region of Nymand, that is still land under the jurisdiction of The South, will be surrounded by 100,000 soldiers. 30,000 will be Air Force, 30,000 Marines, 40,000 Army. Troops are ordered to execute any Atlasian soldier who tries to take this land. Atlasian civilians won't be harmed.

1. The Public Safety is Important Act is hereby in effect in order stop Atlasian aggression
2. The To Arms in Dixie Act is hereby in effect to distribute weapons and resources to Southern Nationals and militia groups. Leaders of militia groups will be treated as soldiers of the Southern Military but under their own jurisdiction to respond swiftly to threats. Militia groups are required to provide intel on the enemy and information about militia capabilities in real time
3. A No-Fly Zone for Atlasia is authorized by the State Department effective immediately
4. Militia groups are authorized to arrest any Atlasian civilians cooperating with the foreign government

Statement by State Department 5/17/23
The recent actions by the Atlasian government only confirms what we knew about the regime: They do not respect the rights of its citizens. Calling for uprisings in the south, branding southerners as traitors, fascists, and demanding we face crimes for peacefully disassociating ourselves with a broken nation. Is this liberal at all? The Atlasian government, controlled by the deranged left is blatantly violating the laws they implemented. This is exactly why The South left. We want our own homeland, separate from these dictators. Lincoln and Fremont should leave as well.

The region of Lincoln does not respect the liberty and independence of the South. We will continue to approach this diplomatically, but Atlasia must adjust. Based on Lincolns aggression, the state department is issuing new sanctions specifically on Lincoln. All Southern nationals in Atlasia should leave Atlasia and come back to the south.
