OPs in threads can only consist of tweets solely if the tweets are either from a legitimate acknowledged news source publishing a relevant news story, or commentary on it from a notable legitimate journalist or political/data analyst.

So allowed:

CNN/NY Times/notable newspaper/new source: *link to news story/summary of story*
Dave Wasserman/Nate Silver/etc.: *Analysis of polling/election data, economic numbers, etc.*

Not allowed:

"BLM~ACAB~(she/they)*numbers and/or flag emojis*" or *"journalist" with dozens of Medium articles and some personal blog* (*blue check*): "RANDOM REPUBLICAN LEGISLATOR JUST SAID SOMETHING STUPID!"/"RANDOM BACKBENCH REPUBLICAN LEGISLATOR JUST PROPOSED A TERRIBLE BILL THAT'S GOING NOWHERE, EVERYONE PANIC!", *possibly link to Medium article/website with less journalistic integrity than Jezebel or Teen Vogue.*

"MAGA FREEDOM UNMASKED STOP GROOMING 2024": "HUNTER BIDEN BOMBSHELL, DEMOCRATS ARE DOOMED! *link to story from qpatriotnewsuncovered.freedoms*
or
"WATCH LIBS OF TIK TOK DESTROY THIS LIB CUCK WITH FACTS AND LOGIC"

Even if we accept that tweet embedding is a necessary part of any political forum today (alas) it's pretty clear that's more for stuff that falls into the first couple categories (and yes that's far from perfect considering how Twitter encourages even legitimate news sources to engage in clickbait and has rotted the brain and significantly worsened the output of folks like Nate Silver) and not the second category which is alas probably the majority of political "discourse" on Twitter.
