You and I are posting in the thread of someone “running” for office despite being banned from doing so for exactly this reason. That verdict is relevant whether you want the story to be or not.

And more to the point is the fact that whether or not "Al isn't even involved with Atlasia" matters not at all, any more than if Oakvale was in Atlasia in 2022. Its not the who that matters because the faces will change, with a few exceptions like myself. This is why I opposed the efforts of Leinad and PiT to expel Oakvale from the Federalist Party in 2017 and successfully thwarted them.

What matters is "what they represent in a given time". The fact of the matter is that in terms of the place that these traitors occupy in game, is the same niche was in the past occupied by those people, and understanding that legacy is important to understanding the role that this will serve now.

Typically speaking, whenever someone wants you to ignore the past that I bring up, it is because it is very inconvenient for them. An inconvenient truth, you might say.

The proletarian struggle against the reactionary parasites in Atlasia has been long and bitter, with many heroes and martyrs who gave their lives so that their glorious ideals could shine ever brighter. Those same ideals, however, are what have allowed the revisionist, anti-Marxist agents to infiltrate socialist politics and our society at-large. Be it resolved, That Oregon Blue Dog (AKA OBD), President of the Republic of Atlasia, is hereby impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors and is hereby subject to all constitutional penalties prescribed by the Constitution and that the attached articles of impeachment be exhibited to the Atlasian Senate; and

Be it further resolved that these articles of impeachment exhibited by the Senate of the Republic of Atlasia be in the name of itself and of the people of the Republic of Atlasia, against Oregon Blue Dog (AKA OBD), President of the Republic of Atlasia, in maintenance and support of its impeachment against him for high crimes and misdemeanors.

Aside of that, OBD is barred from running for any office including that of VP, for one remaining year. Any ballot including possibly OBD would therefore be invalid and the DoFE would be in constitutional violation if they allow OBD on an election ballot.
