Boy: Dmitri, Aleksandr, Gevorg, Raytheon, James Tiberius

Girl: Viktoria, Yekaterina (and derivatives), Angela (hard-g), Helga, Berlin
I'll take "Slavic names" for 500, Alex.

I have long admired the works of Raytheon Dostoyevskiy. (Also note the filtering-in of German and even Armenian.

I dare say Belgrade, Priština, and Tirana would also be great girls' names.
As you should.

Even though I have never really wanted to have children, I have thought about this since my mid-teen years. I also enjoy thinking about girl names more than boy names, so I have more names in mind and more name variety for a hypothetical daughter.

Son: David, Neal, Martin, James, Daniel

Daughter: Samira, Natalie, Taryn, Yasmin, Sabine, Jacqueline, Eloise, Elmira, Marina

Being serious for once, I like the name Eleazar for a son and Esther for a daughter. My wife is unconvinced on those names, so I likely will not be able to use them for a person.

I will name some of my farm birds those names, in that case.

Raytheon?  There's a cool name.

No idea if I'd ever actually have kids, but I always loved the idea of naming a girl Violet Anastasia *last name here*

I like "old fashioned" girls names a lot. Violet, Charlotte, Mabel, Cora, Winnifred...

Boys names are harder for me. I like Felix and Oliver but those also sound like cat names to me, so lol.

A name that isn’t super weird or dated.  I got saddled with an old fashion name and I’m pretty sure it’s made me “old” for my age and impacted my personality.  Haven’t discussed this yet with anyone because I haven’t been in a long term or serious relationship, so idk.  Something we both agree on.

I insist on assimilating to American culture.

On a serious note, I've promised people on my mother's side of the family to name my first child after my great-grandfather, which would be 'Gregory' (or, well, 'Grigori'). My preference would be for something a little more overtly Jewish but starting with the same letter, like 'Gideon' or 'Geula'. Hard to say since children aren't on the immediate horizon, though.

This is still one of my favorite internet memes of all time. Such gold. Hope she and her daughter Blueberry Ginseng Yogurt are doing well.

No idea for guy names, unfortunately.  For a girl, probably Maria.

I would only have kids after a significant amount of convincing by my would-be partner.

But if it came to that, I think we would both have to agree on names, so I can't really answer this as a hypothetical.

However, I do know two middle names I would give. They aren't names I love but are meant more to honor two significant people from my life who passed on. We often use middle names to honor the dead in my family, so those two names would be Colin and Sondra, for a boy and girl respectively after my best friend who killed himself and my late grandmother who perished last year. Those are the only two names I could commit to as of right now.

Two very Swedish names that I liked are Gunnar (for a boy) and Lotten (for a girl). For some reason these two stuck with me. Haven't put too much thought into it otherwise, but I would otherwise stick with traditional names.

I already have two boys named Alexander and Wren.

But other contenders for boys were Levon, George, Robert (for my grandfather-in-law, who my wife and I love to death), Carter, and Nathan.

Girls' names we thought about, but never got to use were Alexa, Clara, Autumn, Cadence, and Valencia.

Oh, I forgot to mention one other name I like for no reason in particular: Brooke.
