Really looks like DeSantis' polling numbers triggered Trump's little ego quite a bit. He just thinks he's entitled to cruise to renomination because he was "the greatest prez ever". The mere fact DeSantis hasn't ruled out a run yet is seen as very disloyal by Trump.

Pride comes before a fall. Trump shouldn’t be too hyper-focused on polls this far out. For all we know, Trump could end up imploding in the primary.

He doesn’t have an argument aside from “he’s only successful because of me!”

And Meatball Don would be working for a pizza parlor if he wasn't born with a golden spoon in mouth and inherited a fortune small loan from his daddy.

A Harvard-educated lawyer would be working in a pizza parlor? Or Trump is trying to take credit for that too?

A Harvard-educated Italian lawyer, yes. But all Trump is really saying here is that a pizza parlor and a major law firm are roughly equivalent places to work in terms of status, dignity, and value to our society. Hard to argue with that.
