A ridiculously talented artist, who deserved far better than his frequently tragic life. To name a particular favourite, “The Wild Kindness” is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard (the combination of Berman’s words and Malkmus’ guitar -  just divine), which is all the more bittersweet to listen to since Berman’s death.
