I mean, a lot depends on what you mean by "Resistance Libs", but the kind of people whose shallow politics and unconcern for the working class are directly fueling right-wing populism (like a certain president here in France) do not "deserve" anything except contempt.

It’s been obvious for years that the people who prognosticated destruction and chaos as a result of the Trump presidency were correct. However, the #Resistance was wrong about virtually every single tactic they used against him, which cancels out any goodwill they might have gotten from me.

These people's behavior before they joined the #Resistance crap was directly responsible for electing Trump, their behavior during his presidency was directly responsible for Trump expanding his Senate majority, and their behavior in 2020 was directly responsible for him nearly winning reelection. Predicting that Trump would be terrible is like predicting that sticking a wire into a power outlet will be terrible. It's not impressive.

No, because as others on here have said the tactics they took in response to Trump's actions/scandals were ridiculous, causing backlash against everyone left of center and further enabled Trump.
