Both have a lot of similarities:

1.Low Approval Ratings
2.High inflation
3.Barely won against an unpopular incumbent
4.Had a relatively successful midterm

Can you identify any current or potential 2024 Republican challenger who has the charisma of Reagan?

And all of the Ted Kennedy esque primary challengers think he’s doing a pretty damn good job.

Trump is the nomimee he leads the Field @ 61 and with 3 not 7 gas prices Biden isnt losing, RS peaked out on gas prices in the Summer of 22 that's why they got 222 not 230 S .

RS aren't talking about energy anymore they that was their talking pt Carter had high gas prices and a Hostage Crisis

DeSantis would still lose to Biden but as far as Wave insurance we are best off than with DeSantis with a Filibuster proof Trifecta because Trump is only tied in FL, that's why I have a nut map because Trump is gonna be the Nomination

Brown and Tester would be DOA in a DeSantis ticket but we still have to vote

With all due respect to Carter, who's an amazing character, he never had the policy accomplishments Biden has. As POTUS, Biden is much more effective in governing. Unlike Carter, he has decades of experience in DC and a greater sense for political realities. Carter, and Obama as well, were too much of an idealist.

Carter's fundamental flaws was that 1) he did not understand Washington types, 2) he did not want to understand the Washington types, and 3) he surrounded himself with the "Georgia Mafia" whose political instincts where frankly terrible.

Biden does, maybe to a fault, understand the Washington types and how Washington (usually or traditionally has) worked. And he has surrounded himself with folks with reasonably good instincts.

If Biden loses then it absolutely will not be for the reasons that Carter did.

If he loses, it's closer to that of Bush Sr or Ford.

More likely Bush, because at least he was somewhat popular

I think it’s still too early to tell but if AOC primaried Biden or if someone like Liz Cheney ran as an independent and challenged him that could be enough for him to lose.

Biden is winning reelection by about 5-6% in the PV, with all the states he carried in 2020, and a good chance at flipping North Carolina.

At this point no. I would argue Trump, in terms of governing abilities, political instinct, and understanding political realities, was more comparable to Carter than Biden is.

He's the next William McKinley, a 319-219 win with only NC flipping would make 2024 to 2020 exactly like 1900 to 1896.

Does he get assassinated in 2025?

None of them have the stature that Ted Kennedy had; as a long standing Senator, an actual progressive Lion ( still is up to this day ),
