This is literally the post-Western society described in 1984 where they are literally stripping out, lobotomizing, if you will, the English language.

Florida is a post-American society.

Why is this even debated?

Why are we becoming a society in which we will get offended by every word someone says?

This goes for the right wing as well clearly. A conservative got so upset at me once just because I said "died by suicide" instead of "committed suicide", and some even got upset that I tend to use terms like "congressperson".

Not worth getting upset over.

This is adding social tension and awkwardness that is being entirely created by our own actions. It is not needed.

If someone wants to be called "he", "she", "it", "they".. whatever. But Do. Not. Get. Mad. When. Someone. Misgenders. You. Especially. By. Error.

If you look like a man, and have male features you will be called a "he" irrespective of your pronouns. What do these people expect ? That we all wear shirts or name tags that state their pronouns?

This bills and the debate on pronouns should be prohibited in society. It just is unnecessary and is a smoke screen "issue".

People are becoming politically correct, by trying to be politically incorrect. I guess you could call it reactionary etiquette?

I don't understand how this proposed law would work. Does anyone know?

If I refer to the kid in the next seat by "they" do I get sent to social adjustment? Does it only pertain to teachers? What happens to them?

I don’t know man.  I guess we’re gonna find out. This is no longer America. Looks like we’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto.

The planet in general seems to have gone stark raving mad. It certainly is making more salient my misantropic tendencies. Our species really sucks. Too bad I don't know the location of the looking glass.

It will work itself out but unfortunately it appears that we have so far failed in bringing that process into our control. It will all work out whether we can take charge or even adjust to it or not.
