It has to be Republicans. I think a lot of people underestimate just how toxic Sinema is in Democratic circles.

She will take more Hobbs voters than Lake voters.

The people she takes may be dem leaning independents rather than democrats themselves however.

She’ll be an irrelevant non-factor if she even makes the ballot at all

Just what some New Yorkers said about Javits in 1980. Senator Liz Holtzman ended up becoming President Pro-Tempore and Majority Leader!  Waita second.

I hate to be that person, but it's unclear exactly how she plans to message and campaign right now. I imagine that will have a huge impact.

If she goes the whole effective moderate bipartisan moral high route path, I imagine it'd prolly be Gallego, but if she starts attacking Dem routinely in ads and stuff, possibly Republicans.

I think Gallego needs to make this race not about ideology (Sinema being too Conservative), but rather about who represents Arizonans, highlighting Sinema's lack of town halls, community engagement, and corporate donors.

This is probably the better poll that should have been conducted. Will Sinema take more votes from Hobbs/Biden or Lake/Trump voters?

Yes, Gallego needs to focus on character attacks on Sinema vs more ideological terrain.

Disqualify her with her own behavior, showcasing her as dismissive (the thumbs down clip) and narcissistic vs fighting over policy where she’s probably more in line with many AZers, tbh. This should be fairly easy since she doesn’t try to conceal her selfishness.

She will probably take more from Gallego, because whatever AZ voters are still loyal to her, they are likely moderate Dem voters.
