I'm surprised there wasn't a thread for this, but progressive former Congresswoman Pat Schroeder passed away last week.

She was part of one of the best moments in history of a US House debate. You may recognize a certain congressman from Vermont too in the full clip.

And an interview about her brief presidential aspirations when Gary Hart dropped out from the 1988 race. A press conference ruined that and neither she nor any woman definitely wouldn't have won in 1988, but I probably would've supported her.
