Chris Christie is probably one of the few Republicans who has connections to BIG business in the entertainment, sports and financial industry. As a former New Jersey governor in the NYC tri-state metro area, you get financial contributions because the NYC metro area is dependent on the financial services industry. That is just factual.

Christie will get a bump with Trump's legal woes, he was a former prosecutor and will use it against him in the RNC debates.

He'll get support from sports executives like Steve Cohen (Mets) and Jerry Jones (Cowboys), whom he considers his best friends.

He won't win the nomination, but he will get a lot of buzz.

Christie is yesterday's news and has zero appeal to the South and the Midwest.
