I don't think there's much dispute on either side of the aisle that illegal entry has surged in the Biden era to all-time highs, and while legal immigration remained low in 2021, in 2022 it's rebounded to pre-COVID norms; in fact that source says 2022 was the strongest year for legal immigration since 2017.

Anyway, quote is very funny, more politicians should talk like this about different ethnicities. It is probably an underrated aspect of Biden's appeal that he does stuff like this.

He doesn't drink precisely because he's had relatives struggle with alcohol, funny enough the same reason Trump doesn't. But he said he came very close after the tragedy where he lost his wife and daughter, bought a bottle of gin but never opened it. I really felt for the man upon reading that. I sure as hell couldn't have resisted.
