I'm in favor of all except eliminating subsidies and raising the age for entitlements.

Reducing deficit spending (As long as taxation can work)
Reducing military/foreign aid spending
Eliminating most subsidies
Increasing personal taxes (Starting with only those making >$400,000 but maybe lower if our budget cannot be balanced).

Increase taxes on certain individuals (the wealthy) and on corporations.

Why? The best countries to live on Earth (Switzerland, Norway, etc.) all have lower corporate tax rates than the United States.

Why do you believe that this is a causal relationship?
We should focus on closing loopholes before discussing increasing corporate taxes. Having corporate taxes that are too high stiffens competition.

Sweden/Norway rely on very punitive personal income tax rates along with a VAT to fund their social programs.
